At the time, Rebecca was subjected to relentless trolling despite a) only being 13 and b) releasing a fun song that brought everyone joy in 2011. Rebecca has since released multiple other bops including one of the standout songs of 2021 so far: 'Girlfriend'.
Every bit the internet icon, Rebecca has just released a brand new remix of 'Friday' (Feb 10) with Dorian Electra, Big Freedia and 3OH!3 to mark the anniversary.
