It's his FIRST major nomination since Asylum.

AND SO IT BEGINS, LOYAL FOLLOWERS! Any and every fan of American Horror Story can agree that Evan Peters' performance in AHS: Cult has been mind-blowing.

This season was Evan's biggest season to date. After a blink-and-you'll-miss-it turn as Edward Mott and Rory in Roanoke, Evan took on his biggest role in the anthology series so far.

His portrayal of Trump-voting, megalomaniac Kai Anderson has been nothing short of spectacular and, to be quite honest, one of the best TV performances of the year by far. Not to mention the five other characters he played on top of that. Warhol, anyone? Charles Manson? JESUS?!

Ever since the first episode, fans and co-stars have been raving about Evan's performance and have already started campaigning for him to finally win an Emmy for his work on the show. And now it looks like he's one step closer to securing the bag.

Evan has been nominated for a Critics Choice Award in the 'Best Actor in a Movie Made for TV or Limited Series'. He faces competition from Jeff Daniels in Godless, Robert De Niro in The Wizard of Lies, Ewan McGregor in Fargo, Jack O'Connell, Godless, Bill Pullman in The Sinner and Jimmy Tatro in American Vandal.

This is Evan's FIRST major nomination for his work on American Horror Story since his Satellite nomination for Asylum.

Evan is the only cast member on AHS: Cult to receive a nomination at the awards. Not even Queen of screaming Sarah Paulson or the iconic Adina Porter made the cut. Read the full list of nominees here.

Hold on to your hats though, because the nominations for the Golden Globes and SAG Awards will be announced in the coming weeks and we think we miiiiiight be seeing as few more nods for Evan's incredible work this year.

IT'S WHAT HE DESERVES.
