The new season of American Horror Story has arrived and judging by what we know so far, it's going to be a real contender for the best AHS season of all time. But the all important question is: when does the new season of American Horror Story start, what time does it air and how many episodes are you going to have to cancel your Wednesday nights plans for?
The eighth season, which is titled Apocalypse, will be the long awaited Murder House/Coven crossover and will feature several returning characters from both of those seasons, as well as new characters. Fan favourites and original cast members Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are all returning alongside Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates in lead roles.

The next episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse (episode 6) will air on Wednesday October 17th. If you are in the UK, the episode will air two weeks after the US. The next episode (episode 4) for UK viewers will air on Thursday October 18th, on FOX. (Sky channel 124 or Virgin Media)
