I am 4 seconds away from starting a red-string conspiracy board about this theory.

Autumn 2018 has more big witch energy than any of us could have ever anticipated. The Charmed reboot made its way to the CW and Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Apocalypse had fans hooked just a few weeks before Kiernan Shipka's Sabrina would fly in to cast her spell on Netflix audiences.

Viewers are loving all the powerful witch content and a surprising potential AHS/Chilling Adventures of Sabrina "crossover" moment has fans connecting some major magical dots.

BuzzFeed noted in a recent post that, in one CAOS scene, Aunt Hilda makes a passing remark about a "cousin Montgomery", a movie star. Anyone who has seen AHS: Coven will know that Emma Roberts' character (a witch) is called Madison Montgomery and, well, who doesn't love a parallel?

The exact parallel of the phrase "movie star" is really something else.

BuzzFeed also notes that this could also be a reference to the late great Elizabeth Montgomery, who played Samantha Stephens on Bewitched. Samantha Stephens was one of the most prominent TV witches of the 20th century.

It's actually far more likely that Hilda's "cousin Montgomery" reference is a nod to Elizabeth Montgomery, however, a world in which Sabrina and Madison Montgomery are distant cousins is just so deliciously intriguing.

And of course, for your consideration: a photo of two cousins.

What do you guys think? Is this a reference to TV witch history or TV witch present?
