Dumplin's Danielle Macdonald was in American Horror Story and you 100% missed her

Australian actress Danielle Macdonald has charmed audiences in Netflix's latest pageant dramedy Dumplin'. The not-at-all problematic film has been lauded by fans for "being everything Insatiable and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser wanted to be".

Danielle absolutely knocked it out of the park as Willowdean Dickson, cementing her spot on the list of the year's best Netflix performances. You may know her now, but did you spot her absolutely amazing cameo in American Horror Story:Roanoke?

If you're a fan of AHS, you'll know that Roanoke had a "TV show within a TV show" storyline. In the season, viewers watch the characters portray the victims of Roanoke house as fans become more and more obsessed with the property's tragic events.

One of those obsessed fans who appears in season 6 episode 10 happened to be a character named Bristol Windows, played by Danielle Macdonald. Bristol attends a panel and praises Lee Harris. Lee Harris is the former police officer and mum at the heart of the Roanoke story.

In the episode, Danielle's portrayal of Bristol Windows sees her present a drawing of Lee and her daughter to the troubled character. She even records a vlog style video musing on My Roanoke Nightmare, the fictional show at the center of the sixth season.

Don't you love it when your faves pop up other shows you love? The AHS episode Danielle appeared in aired in 2016 and, a year later, she starred in the Sundance darling Patti Cake$.
